Mr. Tolz has received many honors for his work in the community. Well respected - and lovingly known as "Uncle Herman" by the residents of Cape May County - almost a mile of Beach-Front property located in a prestigious area of Lower Township which he donated to the New Jersey Conservation Society for the enjoyment of future generations, now bears the name of "Tolz Beach"..
